Job Description

Duties Staffs visitor center, provides interpretive services (ranger programs), responds to correspondence from visitors, maintains park website, reviews and drafts text for park publications, may be called upon to assist in search and rescue and/or other emergency situations.

Qualifications Excellent public speaking and communication skills, experience in interpreting natural and/or cultural resources to a diverse audience, ability to safely work independently, proficient in using word processing, spreadsheet, publication, and database software. Holds a valid drivers license.

Salary $27,990 – $36,384

Other Federal benefits package available, candidate must be willing to work holidays and weekends, park housing may be available. This position is subject to furlough.
